Functionality of the display connected to a Raspberry Pi is excellent. I selected this model, however, for it's built in panel mount tabs which proved to be not so easy to use. I am installing the LCD in a control panel. The main problem is that the connecting sockets do not stand off sufficiently from the back of the PCB to provide clearance between the rear face of the control panel and the plugs on USB power and HDMI cables. There are a number of ways to fix this. The one I choose was to reduce the thickness of the moulded on plugs by shaving their front faces. Mounting of the LCD was also made difficult by the top edge of mine not being dead straight, it is crimped on to the LCD slightly lop sided. Additionally, the LCD is not perfectly square on it's PCB. This meant mounting holes drilled in the control panel are off square when the display is straight! In short, operation of the display good. Woodwork to make a neat job of fitting it harder than expected due to the LCD panel and the panel's alignment to it's PCB being out of square. Only very thin USB and HDMI plugs will fit if the display is flush mounted to the back of a control panel.
