Vishay Infrared Receiver

The TSOP2256 is a Miniaturized IR Receiver Module for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and a preamplifier are assembled on lead frame. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for decoding. This module is optimized to suppress almost all spurious pulses from energy saving lamps like CFLs.

All JustBoom boards can have an IR receiver installed and be controlled by a remote. Follow our guide here on how to set this up.
