Want to add WiFi to your Raspberry Pi Zero without messy hacks, shims or expensive HATs? We've got the solution! ModMyPi are pleased to announce our Micro USB WiFi dongle for the Raspberry Pi Zero. You heard it right! We've taken our regular USB WiFi dongles, swapped to a micro USB port and miniaturised the internals further to ensure a flawless fit for the Pi Zero.
Our Micro USB WiFi dongle utilizes the plug and play Ralink/MediaTek RT5370 Chipset, which requires no set up or installation on the standard Raspberry Pi operating systems (Raspian, OSMC or LibreElec etc.). It also features an integrated micro antenna to give you clear and constant WiFi signal! We've also kept the dongle itself as narrow as possible, at just 13.65mm, to ensure that it doesn't foul against the micro USB power input cable. The WiFi dongle itself is 100% plug and play, but you will need to set up your WiFi connection prior to plugging the dongle in.
