Pibow Model A Case for Raspberry Pi

The Model A is ideal for hackers and makers and those wanting the original $25 computer on their robot, quadcopter or high altitude balloon. We've designed the Pibow ModelA accordingly to be a slimmer, cheaper, more accessible Pibow. We've opened up the SD Card slot for pIO and Adafruit Micro-SD Adaptors, we've made the secondary GPIO accessible, the camera slot is now open for business, ready for the Raspberry Pi Camera Module. The main GPIO is free and easy to connect to with patch wires or IDC connectors. You also get all the benefits of the standard Pibow, with Lego compatible bottom 'ventilation' holes, 2 holes for the Pi mounting holes if you want minimal mounting options, and compatibility with our VESA Mount. We've also cut the Pibow down to 6 layers from 9, which helps if you want to, say, remove those pesky audio and RCA connectors and go for a *super* low profile Pi. We've also provided a convenient escape for magic blue smoke from the ungainly power capacitor, since it's so tall. This Pibow is also built to hack, extend and cut your own mods. Following the success of the VESA Mount, we'll be offering more lids, bases and layers where they'll be of use to you. As it's aimed at makers and hackers, the Pibow ModelA comes only in the subtle 'Ninja' shade for now. (Raspberry Pi not included)
